Casting Notice

Casting information:

Please indicate which roles you would like to be considered for. If you seem a likely prospect we will schedule an audition. Please do not call.

Principal photography on the feature is tentatively scheduled to be the first 3 weeks in October and the last two weeks in November. We will be having British dialect training sessions in September for cast members but familiarity with British dialects is preferable for speaking roles. Rehearsals will be scheduled for September as well.

• Jake Hynes - Innkeeper, 40s to 50s (Bess' father)
• Lord Shafton - elderly duke, 70s to 80s (Bitter old man) (bad guy)
• Henry Stiles - Farmer, early 60s (important role but short; dies early in movie)
• Anne Stiles - wife of Henry and mother of William
• Tim - stable hand at the Inn, short, rather sleazy, gets drunk and assaults Innkeeper's daughter starting the bar fight with Will; later tells Lieutenant that Highwayman is meeting Innkeeper's daughter, mid-20s to mid-30s
• Nathaniel Cole - farmer, 60s (important role)
• George Lindsey - Tom Lindsey's son, William Stiles' friend, 20s
• Tom Lindsey - farmer, George's father (small role - murdered)
• Samuel Wilfram - wealthy mill owner, mid-60s (bad guy)
• Matthew Berkshire - wealthy landowner, mid-60s (bad guy)
• John Thompson - newspaper publisher, mid-60s (bad guy)
• Magistrate James Quentin - county magistrate - 50s to 60s (bad guy)
